The new service is much slower to load, requires a password login and does not automatically present a view that is the equivalent of an Explorer OS map (1:25 000 scale). Printed maps also appear to be at a much lower resolution.

That's a real shame. OS maps so important especially when sharing maps between colleagues (as we frequently do).
Don't forgot though that if you have a paper copy licence, and you send these electronicaly to somebody else, you still need to add the copyright info. Was something that we only discovered recently. So you have been warned....
Calumma Ecological Services is a Kent based ecological consultancy that specialises in protected species surveys and habitat assessments.
About Me
As principal ecologist for Calumma Ecological Services, I am able to put my interest in reptiles and amphibians to good effect. Like most folks that work with wildlife, my activities extend beyond just 'the job' and I am also involved with several local conservation groups. Being the county recorder for reptiles and amphibians in Kent certainly helps me to fill in those spare moments when I'm not busy with the kids!
